Thoughts and feelings.

Many thoughts and feelings after a miscarriage can be very confusing.

The Miscarriage Association provide a very informative leaflet -
'The Hidden Grief Coping with a miscarriage'
which can be downloaded from thier site.

The following statements are from some of the guests that have attended meetings.

Mandy- "Utterly miserable, pit of despair, shouldn't have happened, hopeless.
Want to know the reason why?
Crying all the time. My body doesn't work.
Why?
The group puts my experience in perspective."

Marta - "Guilty. Empty.
I want to know why?
I felt so good for 2 weeks and then it happened...
Guilty that I found out I was pregnant after 6 weeks.
I found support here today, to see others and listen to their experience"

Julie - "Very hard on myself; the one thing I cant control and my body has let me down.
Feel a failure.
The group helps me feel more 'normal', that the feelings, thought and physical problems are all natural.
I feel calmer through talking and listening to others experience."

Rachel - "useless.
Not in control.
Abnormal (is what i'm feeling normal?
Will I ever be able to have children?
Why me?"
